the process of poverty

there is a process in poverty
a spiritual transaction
as we give Him more of our focus
He gives us greater insight

what did I learn in our 21 day fast?
that I really don't "know" Him.
It seems like the more I know, the more He wants me to know
and the more He provides opportunities for me to know, that I really don't know.

the days are getting evil
there is no certainty in the world systems
we must release our hold of trusting in what we have always known
and reach up to what we have yet to know...

.............Him...in all of His fullness!
.............Him...in all of His glory!
.............Him...in all of His ways!

been disappointed lately because things have not gone the way
.............you thought they would...the way they should.....

Well hooray for you!
He is about to reveal to you another beautiful facet
of who He is and another aspect of His wonderful ways!

prayer of peace

I pray for peace
weaving a covering
over the city of Port au Prince
over Haiti...
That the Prince of Peace
may have free reign in that place.
Holy Spirit move freely among the people
so the love of the Father may manifest.
This city belongs to the Lord.

I do believe that we will see a greater glory
emanating from the people of God as we seek Him
in fasting, prayer and meditation on His Word
compelling us and freeing us
...to die to self and live for Him...
to be and to do
ALL that He has promised for our city!
