as the winds of adversity begin to blow around us once again
may the church of RI learn to know & retain His peace
may we learn the truth that it is only in Him that we find our peace...
and find our victory over this enemy
In the midst of trouble there is a place of safety…
a dwelling place with God…intimacy
For David it was the temple filled with His worship
For us it is the secret place within…
the place where we can step back into His presence and step into peace…
where we can step into the rest of God, where the peace of God is present…
David was so good at intimacy…especially in the face of His enemies
In warfare … it is a battle for our life
It is about establishing our place in the heart of God
Faith and focus depend on the will and the spirit combined…
The will is the vehicle for the presence and the power of God…we must choose
Victory comes from a submissive will…
We cannot manifest anything in the spirit unless our will is submitted to God...
In warfare...we must not let what we cannot do get in the way of what we can do!!!
We must stand, in full armour, in a quiet hopefulness...
We must stand in faith, knowing God's faithfulness...
We must sing His praises and worship Him wholly...
For it is only when living in this place do we find our victory,
it is only when liivng in this place that we find our peace! selah
