the world is crying

I watched the news tonight
and my heart broke
my eyes wept
my heart was sad...

So much sorrow
so much death
so many tears...
everywhere on this earth.

There will be a day
when He will wipe away every tear,
and there will be no more sorrow
no more death!

But until that day
we must be an aqueduct of mercy & grace
pouring ourselves out to a lost & dying world

...the Spirit & the Bride say COME!

shift

it is a good season in PROVIDENCE
the leaves are changing color
and all of God's creation
seems to anticipate CHANGE

the window of Heaven is OPEN
and we are about to SHIFT!

HARVEST is upon us
both in the natural & the spiritual!

there is a CRY in the harvest
declaring that this is the season
to thrust in the sickle and REAP!

we cry out

we cry out for our cities
for they are blinded to the truth
the truth of the reality within our gov'ts
the truth of the reality of an eternal Kingdom

as the prophets of old cried out as He led them
so we too must cry out as He leads us

there is a day coming
when all things will be made abundantly clear

until that day we must cry out
in the power of the Spirit
that Jesus is coming again
and He desires for all to be "saved"

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. Jn 3:16

He gets all of the glory!

Psalm 127
Unless the LORD builds the house,

They labor in vain who build it;

Unless the LORD guards the city,

The watchman stays awake in vain
.

How wonderful...our only need is
to occupy ourselves with knowing Him
to believe in His promises
to rest in His grace
to live in His love

the crux of it all

When building a place of His presence
the crux of it all truly is more about the inner workmanship
of the One for whom we build ... selah... Is66 - Eph2:10

I SAW A MAN

In the course of day we have so much to do
but as we do let's remember TO STOP FOR THE ONE...

Memorial Day 2010 in the produce aisle @St & Sh
as I looked up from the bananas I saw an old man
in a very decorated navy uniform

He stood there in the aisle, in the midst of many people
yet to them...He was invisible

Our eyes met and I asked him about his uniform
he told me that he was in the Navy 30+ years
I told him that my Dad was a "Sea Bee"
and that it was the most definitive time in his life

I thanked this man for his service to our country
he took my hand and held it in both hands as he kissed it
my eyes filled up I was undone by this gracious man

My heart was grateful for our encounter
I was glad that on that day, I SAW A MAN.

GOD IS @ work

I learned a long time ago
that in most situations
when things don't seem to make sense
we usually need to re-frame our scenario
..................in the light of eternity!

I love the Lord, serve Him in obedience
and yet things don't always turn out in the way
that I (and others) expect...

The Word says "trust in the Lord..."
if we believe this and if we do...then...
through the madness, contradictions, stretching,
pruning and enlarging...WE WILL SEE THE BLESSING!

I have known this place many times over...
and hopefully so have you.

GOD IS @ WORK and He invites us to join Him...
Listen to His Voice, He will direct your paths...

and you will have FRUIT THAT REMAINS!
